Can it decode x265 as my pi4 media player struggles with that and only plays the audio stream? So x264 is my current preferred format but comes in at much bigger file sizes.

And they selfishly go to block the other /lower outlet - who's the real Satan?

Grumpy, Doc, Sneezy, I definitely forget the rest though.

Has anyone watched ep 1-3 yet? How was it, considering series 1 was a bit underwhelming I thought.

Wickes is still going strong I believe. I've not heard anything to the contrary!

SDL is Simple Direct-media Layer (I think) and is a low level c++ frame work for writing games and multimedia applications. I wrote everything from the main loop to sprite animation classes, smoothing, serialisation, menus etc. etc. Great fun to have total control but also a pain, so Godot is a joy though I might investigate c++ to supplement gdscript as I'm not really into the python style (yet). Have a look at SDL here https://www.libsdl.org/

Awesome, keep at it. I have a on/off relationship with game dev, as my day job is programming so it often feels like a bus man's holiday to spend more hours at the keyboard, but the results are fun. Currently trying out some old ideas with latest Godot. Much easier than SDL and writing everything myself in c++ which I've done before.

Solar sounds great. I have a Garmin FR55 and linked it to an old phone with no sim and a throw away email account, so it just syncs each time I get back from a run. Lasts a week even with gps during runs. Also turned off all notifications as I hate that. I stopped wearing a watch about 20 years ago but this (after a bit of getting used to) is actually quite useful.

How about GNU/Linux?

Do go on, I'm confused...
