Yep, I'm using an RTX2070 for that right now. The LLMs are just executing on CPU.

Do you recommend this email provider? Lots of people looking to get off gmail lately.

Are you running your own mail server? I only ever integrated Spamassassin with postfix.

Stable Diffusion (Stability AI version), text-generation-webui (WizardLM), a text embedder service with Spacy, Bert and a bunch of sentence-transformer models, PiHole, Octoprint, Elasticsearch/Kibana for my IoT stuff, Jellyfin, Sonarr, FTB Minecraft (customized pack), a few personal apps I wrote myself (todo lists), SMB file shares, qBittorrent and Transmission (one dedicated to Sonarr)... Probably a ton of other stuff I'm forgetting.

You can run your own models at home if you don't mind some tech struggle: https://github.com/ggerganov/llama.cpp lets you run the LLaMA/Alpaca/Vicuna/Wizard family of LLMs.

Went shopping for new boots, brought home a front tire for one of the dirt bikes. Thankfully, like all KLR riders, I had bungies in the bag.

I noticed other communities have nice looking community logos and full banners. I can add one to this one if anyone has a good one to share.

It's sheared off pretty clean. They can probably notch it and use a screwdriver. If they have to use an easy-out, it's a bad day.

That's a great shot too

The nest is really high up, had to take the shot without looking. I got a few but this was the best one.

The 450L is great, I did really enjoy it. The problem is, it's better tuned for open, higher speed areas. The stuff we ride is tight technical woods here. Plus I wasn't really doing much road, so green plate (off-road only) made more sense. Insurance is about 25% the price of road legal.

Yup, mostly running pretrained models for text embedding and some generative stuff. No real fine tuning.

Yup, typically we get into it after upgrading an older PC or something and instead of selling the parts, just turn it into a server. You can also find all sorts of cheap/good stuff on ebay from office off-lease.

The fairings kinda look like the older F650GS as well from that time. BMW had that bubbly look.

Ryzen 5900X, 64 gig DDR4-3200, 2tb ssd,10tb hdd and an RTX2070. Hosting Stable Diffusion, various llama.cpp instances with python bindings, jellyfin, sonarr, multiple modded minecraft servers, and a network file share.

They look kinda weird at this age. The blue egg under them eventually hatched.

She's mostly good. Mostly.

I was spending a lot more time doing off-road stuff, so I switched from a CRF450L (which I did love) to a KLX300R. Great trail bike.

I'm new to Lemmy, probably like most of you. I figured if you were part of the major Reddit exodus, you'd be looking for some of your favourite subs. Feel free to post pics of bikes, ride reports, gear you like or complaints about the cagers. We're not fussy here yet.
