RIF have announced they will shut down on the 30th too. No word from BaconReader yet (my time wasting app of choice) but I'm guessing they'll go down as well. Such a sad situation all round.
I've run into issues logging in with Firefox, I get the same infinite spinning circle you describe. I've found that Brave on desktop to be pretty smooth sailing for browsing beehaw so I would suggest giving that a go.
