I really dislike modern player UIs making everything harder to do. Why does basic things need more taps than usual?

another indian here: probably not. given that indian parents are obsessed with their social status since most people of that generation were raised in a traumatic environment as well (that was also obsessed with the rest of the world's perception of them, that took away individual intellectual/emotional/identity agency), so they will likely keep seething on:

  1. being "abandoned" by their children
  2. while seething on the very existence of their children or obsessed with working on "damage control" with their society

I dont game much anymore due to a dead PC but if i ever will, I want to know of my f2p options and was wondering what lemmy's concensus for the game is, just generally curious if you think it'll survive an year of existence or will die out like every other opportunistic f2p releases.

So I've started using Ublock Origin on my firefox on Ubuntu, and I noticed that it showed no blocked trackers on the webapp of discord. I'm well aware of the perils of using any service that doesnt support e2ee for private messaging and i hate discord for that and being corporate, But i was wondering how bad would it be for browsing communities on it given the supposed and seemingly "lack" of trackers detected for it.

He was a freedom fighter and #India’s first Education Minister, but any mention of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad has been deleted from a revised political science textbook published by the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
