I have an old 4a I used for business. I was thinking about trying GrapheneOS on it, and after seeing this I am definitely going to check it out. If it goes well I'll probably try it on my 7 also.

My m8 is somewhere in my office still. Behind my pixel 5 it has probably been my favorite Android phone.

I can only imagine how surreal it must feel to try to fight off what is essentially a toy with a grenade strapped to it with a shovel. The shear terror that you know there is a good chance this thing is going to kill you, so you pick up a shovel and pretend there is a chance you might be able to survive this and go home again.

Anyone taking bets on if it's the deep state or one of those damn lone wolves that got riled into a frenzy by all the ridiculous conspiracy theories but it's an isolated incident because there is only one superbowl a year and no one even actually died so there won't be any consequences for the source of this person's anger?

Every quote of that manifesto sounds fake. Why would a transgender person use a gay slur to describe white children? And what person about to go on a homicidal rampage would censor the word cracker which doesn't hold nearly the weight of most racial slurs?

Does anyone have a surprised Pikachu meme I can borrow? I am absolutely shocked, SCHOCKED I say, that an upstanding citizen like ginni Thomas would ever do anything like this! I'm sure Clarence is going to be just as surprised when he finds out, so maybe two of those memes.

And we should not let perfect get in the way of someone getting possibly life saving resources.

The myriad of free services provided by a library is why they hang out at libraries. Not that it doesn't happen but I doubt the homeless are checking out books to fill their spare time.

Public bathroom, wifi, escape from the heat or cold, nice people, business resources, etc are all benefits of the public library. All that stuff can be done in a regular office building or community center and no need to burden the library with more work.

I agree and understand, but sometimes people who are in need of this service might be less than stable. Again, is someone like a librarian the best public servant to help in this situation?
