You can use forks of Signal which removed the proprietary part. For example there is Molly (Hardened Signal) which has two version and one of them is fully foss.

There is enough evidwnce that this is wrong. I would recommend to watch Techlores Interview too.

Brave is more secure, in terms of safety, because it's base on chromium and has unique Privacy Features. If you won't use Brave, LibreWolf or hardened Firefox is ur best choice.
LibreWolf nd Brave are on the same Level if both are hardened.
I use Material Files and is so far the best you can get, as fa I know. Didn't seen any better Fime manager over the time and some applications just are not regulary updated, bjt still gets updates over the years. Same thing for Material Files.
