I'm going to say something probably incredibly offensive, but I have the safety of my funny online username so it's ok.

The people are only "chosen" if you subscribe to their beliefs. If you're insinuating that Native Americans aren't "chosen" either, then you've forgotten that they actually use a picture of you in the dictionary to define "hypocrite".

You are allowed to question peoples' beliefs, but you are certainly NOT allowed to take harmful action against them because they are different.

And to be perfectly clear, I am not commenting on which side of the current conflict is entitled to what. I'm not touching that conversation with a 12ft pole.

Genuinely not sure why people are lining up to argue you on this. Its not even opinion, just facts.

If anything, it's about time us white guys have to fucking struggle a bit. I'd just like a world where we can collectively pull our heads out our asses and stop voting the wrong people into power.

Right now. Mostly just cause my brain felt like flying off the rails. Can't afford my meds right now, and yet we need $25k for our wedding still in 4 months, and we can't seem to dig ourselves out of the financial hole I dug us into after leaving my last job for my mental health and be incomeless for 3 months. Fun stuff for sure.

One company owns a vast amount of all grocery stores in Canada.

So sure, it may not be the "grocery stores" individually, it's sure as shit on their holding company.

It's insane that a company can miss the point by this much...

Just make a good product, do everything you can to avoid fleecing your player base, and they will come. Then you can add microtransactions that people can buy. You gotta earn that shit through merit of a good game.

I'm assuming you have played it, but Doom Eternal takes all of the good from 2016, improves all of it, and adds a whole slew of features that are virtually all positive. That, with a pretty impressive story to boot, DOOM Eternal might be my favorite sequel of all time.

Lmao to that. It almost as if the lies people have spread about how the system is supposed to work has gotten out of hand, so controlling it has become nigh impossible. No wonder the backlash to Gamestop went how it did.

And I know this will sound facetious (just trying to be helpful!), but the phrase "lazze fair" is spelled "laissez-faire". It originated in 18th century France!

Large corporations are, indeed, soulless and thankless. No amount of their pandering to the masses with charity campaigns and outreach programs ever end without them making money.

Knowing this, I prefer to take everything at face value. If I start concerning myself with the ulterior motives of these people that don't believe in class equality, I will very quickly want to put a lightbulb in my mouth.

For those familiar, Destiny 2 (a video game by Bungie, the originators of the Halo franchise) has come under scrutiny lately due to mass layoffs, and the following PR nightmare it has turned into. With every day that passes, we learn more thanks to the diligent work of journalists doing their job.

I appreciate knowing to help me make informed decisions about who I fiscally support, but I will spend my money on entertainment based on the value it gives me. Not the morals I'm told I should have by people bickering on the internet, and content creators that use these situations as clickbait.

And that all goes for any corp, I'm just largely invested in this one example. I am aware that Nestle is garbage ass company, but due to me not existing in their world view, I will buy a KitKat when I want one, thanks.

Witcher 3. Spoilers here, btw.

I will never forget riding my horse up to The Baron's residence after losing his child and his wife and seeing him hanging from the tree. They do such a good job making his character barely tolerable at first, then make him slowly grow on you after you learn he's just like you. Scared, confused, and lost. He lashes out because he's trying to protect his family, but the weight of losing it is the end is too much for him.

Truly, what a masterclass in narrative design, and it's only a sliver of what that game has to offer.

I make it a point to forget scanning half of my shit there. It's less about self-checkout (I quite honestly don't mind it all that much), and more about the insane cost of living now.

I refuse to spend $30 on milk, eggs, cheese, bread, and butter.

Lmao. I mean, yeah. I dunno about everyone else here, but I'd much rather see that money be spent in a productive "society-first" manner instead of literally just bleeding into nothing.

Nothing money does nothbut sit there anyways, so spend it to improve quality of life or give it all back and let us do it.

Fuck.
