I was thinking that maybe I could have put more effort on having people to take a look at it, I know a lot of people will just read the title and think like "fuck off". haha
Templa
It looks cool but I wonder if they are comfortable to use?
It sounds like nonsense to you but it is the reality. The medium person don't bother and just want a place where you create an account and that's it.
We found Anytype when searching for a Notion alternative and it is indeed a good one. It is still missing a few features, mainly related to dates and calendars but I am having fun setting up the templates. It takes a bit but eventually it does click, in my case my spouse did the hardwork and explained to me how to use it, lol.
The two main ways I am currently using it are: creating a page and putting a bunch of relevant stuff in there and the other is creating a type and creating a set of said type to be displayed. Don't know if that will make sense to you but if you are interested I can try to type it in a more detailed way. Logseq is nice but sometimes I needed tables and it was a bit of a mess. Anytype doesn't have this issue.
Unfortunately Proton Calendar and Proton Drive aren't available on Github so I will still need to update manually if I don't want to use the Play store :( I already put a few apps on it though
I went to take a look and it doesn't seem to be open source
Well, if they are smart they will just migrate to Bluesky.
I gave up on trying to get people to Mastodon.
On Mobile I use Firefox Nightly but it is a pain. It crashes all the god damn time. I don't know how y'all do it, Mull is the same thing because of the upstream. I sometimes consider using Vanadium but I ain't pissed enough yet, I think.
On Desktop, Librewolf for mostly everything that I can manage work with it, what doesn't I open whatever other browser that's available.
For music I am currently using Tempo with a Navidrome server. It allows you to download specific songs to listen to them locally or I can listen to everything if I connect through Tailscale.
Also, I highly recommend Catima if you want to carry loyalty cards and things like that.
I was very pissed there was no disk drive, but at least you can get it as an add-on like the Slim version (ended up reading at their blog post, don't understand how they didn't mention it during the stream). The 2TB SSD makes it very tempting since we have the digital version and we were looking to get a disk one.
I am glad you gave it a chance despite the title, haha! I think the surprise is part of the experience
