The most effective wall you can build is a concrete block wall/insulated air gap/concrete block wall. It seems like overkill but this is the type of construction that cinemas have between individual theaters. The only way to get more isolation (aka the "good, thick wall") is to decouple the walls, and at that point you're at separate structures anyway which adds the advantages of fire breaks and not having to have a legal entity governing common components like that roof.

What's the typical ratio of regular rounds to tracers?

It's Russian, it might regularly look like that.

I have this dream that one day UA AF happens to have a few surprise F-22s on hand for revealing after the fact via intercepting most of the Russian strategic bomber fleet the next time they do a temper tantrum missile strike.

I'll add some negativity to restore balance.

These local ruinations are just a temporary blip versus China's hard demographic facts like how over the last 10 years their birth rate has crashed harder than the birth rate of the Jews during the Holocaust.

At first I read this as USPS delivered... I guess I need more coffee and less head cold.

At this point there's a huge swath of Republican voters who don't know who the heck she is. Trump may have done the right thing by snubbing the primary debates because he's managed to help keep the knuckle-draggers who form his base ignorant of the other candidates who aren't trying to out-Trump Trump himself.

I've seen enough anime to know that turning on the experimental fusion reactor in some Japanese prefecture is an event that doesn't end well.

Foreign influence operations exist because they work.

Need an app better than Jerboa? Go to Beehaw as normal in Chrome, then click the ... menu on the top right of Chrome. Look down and you'll see "Install App". (Edit: this option is normally not there for 99.9% of websites, I'm not taking about Add To Home Page) If you've got a free spot in your launcher a Lemmy icon will show up, otherwise look in your app drawer thing or whatever new apps show up.

This tech is called a "progressive web app" and it's not just a shortcut, because it then behaves like you'd expect an app to behave like.

Anyway, give it a try. A few other sites have this feature, but it's fairly rare and unfortunately underutilized.
