So excited for this!! M3 looks like a fairly good improvement and the space black is perfect for the MacBook Pro lineup

What’s going on with the smear campaign against Mozilla lately? This trash article keeps being posted, and now clearly new user accounts are being created to keep up the work.

Love the custom icons! Great update and thanks, as always, for all your hard work.

Yeah had some issues today as well. Just one user (that we know of) across 500 employees. OWA had issues on every browser for every device the user tried, but Outlook desktop and mobile apps both worked as normal.

No idea! That’s one of my main concerns - justifying the power bill with hosting some cool stuff.

Hey everyone. So I just inherited a Dell R720 from work. I don’t know the full specs on it yet, but it’s got a 24 core processor and about 380 GB of memory. I need to buy my own drives, though. I honestly have no idea what to do with this. I’ve dreamed of having a home lab, but only ever thought about hosting a Unifi controller and a plex or jellyfin server. I’ll probably put Proxmox on it to manage everything. What recommendations do you all have for making use of this server? I’m honestly open to anything!

Having something for IT professionals would be huge. There’s a big difference in professional tech and everyday technology. It’s a wide range of topics, but networking, server administration, security, device management, Helpdesk, and IT management can all be summed up together inside professional IT. It would be a good place to ask for help, get ideas, and catch up on the latest news and trends.

There’s a community for new communities on Lemmy.world. That’s a great place to share the word about any new communities created recently!

The community is literally called “New Communities”.

What IT related communities have you found? Keeping up with tech news was one of my primary reasons for keeping in Reddit. I’ve found a few things here, but not a ton. I’ll gladly take any suggestions
