Another consequence of hate speech shifting from intolerable to a mainstream political opinion over the last few years. It's sad to see, and crazy to watch happen in real time.
I've only read about it on Wikipedia but Fight Club in China is pretty crazy. Right before the buildings explode they cut to black with some text on screen that says their plan was foiled and they got arrested.
