I just stumbled over this project:

MMIX is created by Prof. Knuth purely for expressing his algorithms. Back then C++ and Java were the latest, hottest sh... (and would soon be outdated themselves). Prof. Knuth didn't like C++ and general programming language fashion. So he invented MMIX. It was never meant to be implemented in real HW.

I don't know whst's wrong with the other CPU architectures you listed. I especially wonder why Sparc wasn't used more.

I don't know of an industry company who builds truely libre hardware. Only half-libre if you are willing to call it so.

Which region are you willing to work in?

Unity frustrates devs with extra fees.

I don't think you need a particular order.

Windows -> GNU/Linux

KDE/Gnome -> JWM

TV -> Reading books

Twitter -> Fediverse

Coke/Cola -> Tea/infusion

Amazon -> Local bookshop

I myself eat less meat and plan to finally reduce it to zero. And I think it matters both for the environment and the animals.

But how does plant-based diet reduce waste (as the diagram seems to imply)?

I like the diagram/picture with the two ladders.

"100% have ignored" Yeah sure, then you don't read newspapers. It is not ignored.

As @sexy_peach@feddit.de said, there is "Last Generation" here in Germany, too. And as you said about Italy, here they are doing more harm than good for climate protection. People who are already convinced that we need urgent climate action like the last generation. But they don't need to be convinced because they already are. And the people who are not fully convinced, they get very angry about the climate movement. In Berlin an ambulance on duty was hindered by the "Klimakleber" (climate gluers) who glue their hand to the street.

Dell and Ikea have already used it. :)

It costs more than plastics. So the politics are on duty here.

If I may link to the company here: https://www.ecovative.com/

I've read about producing packaging and items from funghi (mycels). Maybe that is an alternative?

One text I loved very much is "The rebels (or robbers) of Liang Shan moore (or Po)". I guess it is very taoistic, but I'm not sure about that.

Unfortunately I can't find a reference on English wikipedia and on the net. I am sure there is both because there's even a TV series about it.

The Analects (Lun Yu) is a famous book from Confucius (Kungtse). I love it but I think it isn't the final answer to everything. I understand why taoists laugh about him but I appreciate his rigid morals.

Richard Wilhelm was a German sinologist who translated several texts to German. For example I ging, Tao te king, Secret of the Golden Flower, Analects. In my opinion he gave great care for understanding the Chinese culture, not just viewing it through Western prejudices.

What's your favorite Magic edition?

Do you play Magic (or just collect)?

Or do you collect Magic cards beyond playing?

Let me introduce a really cool fantasy novel:

"A Wizard of Earthsea" is about magic, its power and its sources.

The main character is Ged, who is told about, starting from his childhood until he rises to power.

It is narrated vividly. The description of the magical school and the diverse sources of magic is entertaining.

Greetings Peter

What is your all-time favorite from the Discworld novels (by the famous Terry Pratchett) ?

Greetings Peter

I want to recommend to you the novel "Rivers of London" (In USA "Midnight Riot").

It's "Urban Fantasy", namely about a magic cop in the contemporary England. The main protagonist is Peter Grant, a black cop. He is the apprentice of Nightingale, the only legal magician in England.
