Seems to be available on 1337. Other than that I found a dead torrent on a private tracker. I could make a reseed request for you if you find that the releases on 1337 aren't up to your standard. If someone reseeds it I could make a torrent for you or upload the episodes to some cloud drive.

Up and down I guess. My wife's aunt passed away and she took it pretty hard. I try to just be there for her because I know in this case there's nothing else I can do but I hate to see her so upset. It's been a few days and she seems to be processing it well.

I'm also in the middle of a terrible IBS flare up. I would like to see a doctor about this finally, but being a young, otherwise healthy guy, I don't have care established with a doctor's office and getting an appointment is proving to be a challenge.

On a more positive note we celebrated our one year wedding anniversary. Had a nice lunch together, walked our dog through the local arboretum, and opened a left over bottle of rye whiskey from the wedding to make old fashioneds (one of the drinks we had at the wedding). We will wait till our five year to open the bottle again.

My wife, some friends and I wanted to play some modded Minecraft so I setup a Valhelsia 3 server for us. It's been a lot of fun so far, none of us have had fun with this game in years, so it has been nice to play again.

I'm using a Thrustmaster Eswap X Pro. The joystick and dpad modules are hot swappable and can be put in any orientation you prefer. They sell replacement joystick modules for $20, which is nice because you don't have to replace the whole controller if one gets stick drift.

Sounds better than my current setup. I have Swiss on a SD card plugged in with a memory card adapter, my roms on a micro SD card in the serial port using an SD2SP2. To boot into Swiss I have to use an Action Replay disc. It works but it's a pain.

Been playing Foxhole with a buddy of mine. The game is pretty cool. An mmo with a persistent war that lasts until one side takes the entire map, which is pretty large. All the guns, ammo, vehicles, respawns, etc. are player made and need to be transported to fronts. It's a lot to take in but it's engaging even while you're learning.

Idk if you ever solved this but after switching back to Wayland I am able to launch games with Proton 8.

I've been having the same issue on Pop!_OS.

Spelunky 2 - $20. One of my all time favorites here. Over 200 hours in, don't regret any of them. I could easily double my playtime without seeing everything.

Dark Souls 1 - $30(?). Back in my teen years on the 360 I bought Dark Souls without knowing anything about it. I played through it with a buddy, passing the controller on death, and we had a blast. That first run transcends money for me, I would pay anything to keep that memory. Recently that same buddy and I replayed the game together and are now reworking our way through the series.

Racingmaybe - $3. This game is amazing. It's a turn based drag racing game with an upgrade system. This is the best driving game I have ever played, far and away. It's a hobby project by a solo developer. At it's $3 price point this game is well worth the money. Seriously, if you're reading this, buy it. Or drop your Steam name and I will gift it to you.

Mount & Blade: Warband - $20. This game is really starting to show its age but I still love it. Endless mod potential gives it tons of replayability.

I could go on forever but these ones came to mind first.

I watched the whole video trying to keep an open mind, but what they showed off just looks so generic. Quick time events, very basic looking fps mechanics, flight looks like War Thunder arcade battles. At least the gfx and animations looked pretty cool, although imo this is the least important factor of a good video game. Will probably be a skip for me, if it ever releases that is.

Cool track, thanks for sharing.

Personal Thoughts

Too Many Zooz was recommended to me yesterday by @oshitwaddup@lemmy.antemeridiem.xyz. I selected their first EP, F NOTE, and it was a really fun listen. Something straight out of a street performance that makes you feel bad for not carrying cash around anymore. Pellegrino sounds fantastic on baritone sax, and Muirhead equally good on trumpet. My favorite track was Get Busy.

Personal Note

I'm getting married on the 29th, my fiancée and I have been quite busy with the final preperations which is why I'm selecting such short EPs and missing days. Thanks to all for reading and for the recommendations, I will get around to all of them.

I'm interested to check out more of their work because it seems like fans were pretty split on this one. Some said they didn't like the covers as much as their original works.

Cover Photo

Fun Facts

The linked recording was done in a single take and gives an idea of the experience of a Parcels show. There are supposedly a few mistakes throughout the recording but I didn't notice them personally.

Personal Thoughts

This was recommended to me by the same friend who recommended Yellow Days for day 2. I had a great time watching this live recording this morning and am excited to listen to more Parcels. I loved their sound, they're great musicians and it really shows in the video. My favorite track was Comedown, which starts at 11:13. The transition to the song after, Lightenup (14:53), is so sick, you can see how proud of themselves they all are.

If you haven't seen this before give it a watch and share your thoughts.
