I updated the other day and noticed issues putting the car in Drive, Reverse, and Park using the touch screen. I rebooted in hopes it fixed the issue. Has anyone else had this happen?

I was surprised how well FCP works on the iPad. For some features, it works better than the Mac version. There’s no slowness or stuttering at all. It’s easy to edit videos, and the best feature is the ability to create live drawings. I just started using it to edit 4k videos for my YouTube channel.

When they talked about its uses as a computer, they pretty much implied it would be plugged in, not on battery power. I don't think Apple expects people to use FC Pro on battery power if they don't have to since it only has a 2-hour battery life. I think Final Cut will drain it quickly, as I've been using FC Pro on my iPad, and battery life suffers.

As to your second point, I know it's hard to believe, but not everyone owns a Mac (insert shocked face). If I'm going to pay $3,500, then it better be a stand-alone device. One that I don't need a Mac, iPad, or iPhone to work. For those already in the Apple ecosystem, I would probably only use it as an additional display unless the Vision FC Pro version is a complete redesign to take advantage of "Spacial Computing."

Thanks for letting us know. I tend to stay away from Mac and iOS betas since I use them for work and video editing. Hopefully, someone else here knows.

If true, I’m not surprised since they released FC Pro on the iPad. Since the Vision Pro uses the same M2 chip as the iPad Pro, it makes sense.

I’m always amazed at the continuous improvements we get yearly from Apple silicon. I just wish the Mac Studio with the M2 Ultra didn’t cost $5k (the way I would want it configured).

I’m so interest in the Mac Studio and was wanting to purchase one for video editing. How do you like it so far? Is it the new one announced at WWDC23?

It’s supposed to have 100 games available at launch. That said, it uses an M2 chip, so it should be powerful enough. I think game titles weren’t announced because there’s still at least 8 months left before launch. No need to spill the beans yet on everything.

I think it might be related to FaceTime being added, but I do wonder what else they have in mind.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is my Switch game for this weekend. I still have so much of the Depths to explore.

Since we're all Apple fans here, what does your home Apple setup look like? Here's mine.

Yeah, it's not for the mainstream right now, but wait for when it's smaller and more affordable.

I wonder if they will allow demos in the Apple Stores. I can only imagine the lines if they do.

With the update to the Mac Pro, the entire lineup runs on Apple silicon. Will anyone miss the Intel days? Is anyone planning on getting the new 15" MacBook Air or the Mac Studio?

See how I didn't mention the Mac Pro. I have my reasons.

Were there any new features you're excited about or wish had been added to iOS 17?
