I usually hate shows like Idol and The Voice, but I'm all in for A2K which is Mr JYP putting together a K-pop group in the US. You can watch the first two episodes on YT.

I always wondered if your username was an Orville reference!

I've started season 3. Only two episodes in.

spoilerI was told the third season is darker and the first ep of season 3 certainly fits that description.

Banh mi for me please!

I can understand vendors/businesses increasing prices to cover rising costs of ingredients (like my favourite cafes) but $16 for a toastie, wtf!

Holy shit. Don't do it and get something in writing too if you can, like make your reply in writing rather than verbal but reference what you were asked to do. Sounds to me like the director isn't just gutless but manipulative enough for you to be the target if the employee responds with aggression, legal action etc. I'd also bet that the director would stab you in the back and act all sympathetic to the employee.

I enjoy watching The Witcher but my god Jaskier is so annoying.

Why do some delivery people place your heavy delivery right in front of your door so you can't open your door?

How about young adult fiction set in Melbourne? Any titles we know of?

A face mask is probably what I can manage today. I'm dead tired, username totally checks out as I have some health conditions that require iron infusions every so often and I'm due for another one, so my energy is low.

It's certainly worth a visit. I have a rule about not ordering the same stuff when I return to a particular spot but so far I haven't been able to move away from the broken rice and banh mi!

The banh mi from my favourite vegan cafe (Olivia Spring Cafe in MoPo) makes me so happy. I get ridiculously happy about great food, and this cafe also makes their broken rice (Cơm Tấm) dish using the same ingredients so it's a double win whenever I order from there. This takes my mind off Aus Post continuing to bounce my parcel between west and eastern Melbourne for three weeks now despite saying they've put in alerts to have it dealt with by a human rather than their automated sorting mech.
