ohhh that is so shit. The other day you were contemplating doing stuff around the house (?) versus going to buy brushes and I thought go buy the brushessss. How disappointing for you!
I'm at the point, again, of my regular re-watch of Star Trek:Voyager where as much as I consider Janeway a role model, I'm so bitterly disappointed that during filming Kate Mulgrew was absolutely horrible to Jeri Ryan and made her life very difficult on set.
Every time I re-watch Star Trek: Voyager, I'm struck by how brilliant Captain Janeway is.
That's a good read, thanks. I knew a bit about the song itself but it kinda irritates me to hear it everywhere on videos like a smoothie recipe, reno reveal, hair updo, etc!
Whhhhhyyyy do so many of those 'shorts' videos use the Makeba song??!
Wow... I randomly looked at the staff page of my old high school in the 80s. The biggest bully of a teacher is still there but is now the student well being coordinator.
FFS every time I look at that there's a new letter to remember. Like the emergency phone number on that episode of The IT Crowd.
In the past year I have donated/given away/sold about 20 big garbage bags worth of stuff. I'm always decluttering but amazed, in a bad way, how little impact it seems to have on the home.
How old is he, 10? Good on you. I tell my teenager not to tolerate that shit from friends. I know people can have their own Stuff that makes them think this is an acceptable way to treat friends but it boils down to looking after yourself. I had a friend like this years ago who was exhausting and I was so glad when she dumped me in the friendship. Amazing how much my mood lifted after all contact stopped.
Question for the DT: if you're in some kind of online community like this one, a Facebook group etc, and someone posts asking if anyone has a specific book, do you think replies of "have you tried the library?" are a) fair enough or b) NO FUCKING SHIT SHERLOCK THAT WAS THE FIRST THING I DID ? I see these posts often and people always respond with the library advice, and sometimes the OP will reply and say yes I already tried the library but they don't have it hence me asking.
When I see someone asking for a book title, I assume they have, you know, CHECKED THE LIBRARY.
