That would be an interesting shake-up to the current models of endometriosis. Seems like it would warrant an examination of total intestinal and genitourinary microbiome in people with anemd without endometriosis.
I struggle with that too. It makes me feel a little better that they're going straight into the compost pile to become nutrients though.
I also like that this community has a theme and that I can use the Local feed when I want to limit my browsing to Mander. I'm subscribed to other instances for generalist topics.
I don't have a problem with opening the umbrella of Mander to a broader interpretation of STEAM, though. As long as everyone is being kind and responsible, people in diverse fields can share space and learn from each other.

I'm not but that is definitely relevant to my interests! I've had this idea kicking around in my head of starting a sticker library. I'd take a big binder full of sticker paper and put all my spare stickers in there, and take it with me to social/club events so other people could look through, find something they like, and leave stickers they don't have a place for.
But in short, maybe a book of sticker paper? I just recently learned they exist when I saw this one from Camp Mustelid.
They look very polite!
That's an excellent point, that would be a perfect thing to include as part of a technical communications course. The problem is that probably most instructors aren't currently equipped to teach about AI in their fields, so launching some CE for professionals would be a good first step. In my field AI is a hot topic in terms of teaching it to assist with interpreting microscopy, but none of the seminars I've attended have discussed using AI to actually write microscopy reports or other forms of science/medical communication. I could see it being super useful for patient discharges for example. Most students/doctors are pretty bad at writing them.
