Looks very much like what I remember from Armored Core games back on PS1, just with much better visuals and polish. I’m sure I’ll have fun with it, but I think this game will see a lot of scrutiny from the usual FromSoft fans. I’ve seen “mechasouls” tossed around a lot and I think a lot of people are expecting an experience more in line with the Soulsborne format.

For Metroid, I would add that Metroid: Zero Mission (remake of the 1st game) and Metroid: Fusion are excellent titles. Both are GBA titles.
Transparency matters. Even if it comes a little bit late, its good to see the ability to admit a fault. Btw, thanks for allowing us all to hijack your once upon a time small website @ernest lol
That was not jank, but anything Alex touches has a high chance of being jank. It often works though, and that's the best part; it works and they do it despite Linus' displeasure at the solutions lol
