Did we watch different videos? The only person who seemed in favour sounded like he was German. One person was worried that you get less mileage in your car with kilometres. Another mentioned that Britain used to rule the world and now it’s “part of a community”, which they said “ain’t right”. Yet another said they fought 10 years in the war (?) to keep things how they are, but now people want to change everything.

All in all, the sentiment was overwhelmingly negative.

There was a very similar case in the UK recently where a woman induced an abortion at 32 weeks and was sentenced to two years in prison. Many people here were appalled by this, though such late abortions are basically illegal in every country in the world.

I don’t think women should be locked up for inducing very late-term abortions. But I think we can all agree that it’s a terrible decision to do this, can’t we? In both these cases, the women basically had a still-birth and had to dispose of a dead baby themselves. Can you imagine? We should try to stop people from doing this for their own good.

Given that tropical reference I’m gonna guess that your idea of fashion hasn’t changed since 1990.

Pets.com went bankrupt within 12 months of its IPO. It was ahead of its time.

I’m resisting the urge to recreate r/Peloton (a sub about pro bike racing) before someone uses the name for a community based on those dumb exercise bikes.

Presidents keep their title so he’s still “President Trump”. I hope his prison guards will respect that.
