Throw him in the hole and don’t let him out. That’s secure.

Linux is Linux. The differences largely come down to packaging and release cadence. You never really have upgrade difficulties with Arch due to the rolling release model as long as you are updating pretty regularly. On other distros, it’s not uncommon to deal with release upgrades that can be a little more involved. The other advantage to Arch is the repository and AUR. You can install just about anything with one command/click.
Personally, I think Arch is the easiest distro to use once it’s installed. I was a Debian user before Arch for mostly the same reason - it’s so easy to install software because the repository is huge. Being on Mint, you have access to a lot. Just imagine having access to even more but needing a little more knowledge to get started and that’s Arch.
Any decent military is going have crash retrieval teams. It’s called CSAR - combat search and rescue. If a Russian or Chinese jet crashes somewhere neutral, we are going to race to get there. If it’s our own F-35, we will get there even faster and probably fight anyone who tries to get there first. I imagine you would do this for any interesting craft that crashes.
What is wrong with this dude? Going to a movie you don’t want to see and taking notes about it so you can complain about it online when you get home. It’s so pathetic I almost feel bad for him.
We never had a lot of options. Insurance is crazy though. Mine has more than doubled in the past few years. I just got another $4000 increase this year. I want to get the hell out of here.
I was in the same boat before Framework launched and ended up with a ThinkPad X1 Extreme.
It’s a solid machine - easy to upgrade the SSD and RAM, easy to repair, very good premium support available for an additional fee. I paid for the support and had to replace a touchpad that started acting weird. They were at my house within 24 hours and made the repair at my dining table. So much better than AppleCare.
The Linux support is great. Everything works. The build quality is good as far as pc laptops are concerned. Lots of USB ports, HDMI out, and an SD slot. That’s the next best thing to the customizable ports on the Framework. The battery is a little better than the Framework. Really can’t go wrong with either one.
Bullshit. The Russians are waging war against a smaller country that was begging to avoid war. And do you remember the Russians were lying all along while they massed troops on the border? They called it a training exercise. The reason anybody is in this situation at all is Russia. The EU doesn’t owe Russia a damn thing.
Just weeks ago, the Russians destroyed a dam, killing thousands of people and causing an ecological catastrophe. For the past year, they have been teasing a disaster at Zaporizhzhia.
You are mistaken, friend. Russia is evil.

This is the Wayland fork of sxhkd. In addition to regular shortcuts, you can do things like key sequences. It’s great.
I occasionally click on links in search results. Other than that, it’s been more than a month since I used it the way I used to. I don’t miss it. Mastodon and lemmy have filled the space that used to be available for Reddit.
Likely a quality issue.
Coffee producers have several quality tiers and how it’s processed is dictated by the quality. Highest quality will usually get a medium roast and be exported to other countries where it can be sold at a higher price. The roast will usually get darker as the quality declines so they can cook off bad flavors which may include chemicals, mold, bugs, feces, etc. The stuff at the end is really digging at the bottom of the barrel. It goes into stuff like k-cups, cheap coffee, instant, etc.
Nvidia works. What issues are you having? I have optimus running on my laptop and it works fine.
I did notice the nvidia settings app doesn’t work though. My gpu doesn’t show up, but I installed nvtop and confirmed it’s running.
Wait, what? How does that work? I haven’t seen much of the game except trailers.
