Discord is just an easy real time communication platform. It is not suited to anything that is not in the moment. It should only augment a community, but so many people use it as a replacement for one.

Memmy for Lemmy should bring it up

Money sitting there is currently losing its value faster than usual due to the high inflation. It would be better used to provide resources to the community now as it will buy less resources in the future

Same as always. It will become not a big deal and then we’ll all get excited when they pass the 10T mark, whilst complaining about what a $100 used to buy.

Australia always needs to be weary on how much we tie ourselves to Chinese economy. It has burnt certain sectors when they haven’t diversified their trade partners enough in the past and china whacked on trade restrictions.

I agree with you. People don’t know how to raise and train their dogs. You will get some serious damage from small breeds but their size usually limits it from being fatal. Most people only know how to raise a dog from watching parents or others. Their theory on training a dog is usually based on outdated and flawed premises. When we got ours we did a bunch of research on training and behaviour and I had to relearn what I knew about dogs even though I had them growing up.

The bit with office is when you operating as a business you want ease of compatibility when communicating with other businesses and it is easy to write the cost of the software up as just the cost of doing business. Otherwise you just risk frustrating other parties.

This is hilarious and kind of tragic at the same time.

We thankfully are going alright. But we look at our grocery and eating out bill and shake our heads.

We can’t figure out how people are coping considering the changes in fuel, electricity and food. It is definitely going to impact our long term goals.

I’m excited to see Xavier back in.

With State of Origin game 2 coming up I was wondering if anyone had stumbled across an NRL community?

Maybe if we could get the multinationals to pay a fraction of tax we could afford it.

I did 99% of my reddit browsing through third party apps and I don’t really want to use their app based on the mobile website experience.

Yeah that bit makes sense. It is just trying to figure out how I access content using my account without relying on trending all. I haven’t had much luck with the category searching on all yet.
