Still looks great, nice one!

I understand the feeling, but in my opinion, if I really like a game and want to preorder it, I will. We're still able to request a refund if the game is shit (on Steam, for example). Why not do that instead?

1, 3, and 7 are the best. Did you make them yourself, or are they AI-generated?

Yes, I got 2 areas saved on both.

  • Portugal (South until Lisbon)
    • GM ~350MB
    • AM ~800MB
  • Manchester
    • GM ~200MB
    • AM ~ 411MB

I'm making this post to note some of the differences I've noticed between the two apps when using offline mode. Let me know if you find any other differences I might have missed.

Things that Apple Maps does that Google doesn't:

  • Walking and Public Transport routes.
  • Location details (Opening Hours, Phone Number, Ratings,…) only if cached on device, otherwise it won’t show anything other than the location.

Things that Google Maps does that Apple doesn’t:

  • Show phone numbers for all businesses (no need to be cached from what I can tell).
  • Less storage occupied for around the same location/area downloaded.

Maybe !freegames@lemmy.ml

Edit: Better link as per suggested here.

This, first day was just a quick learning curve. I feel like I can navigate lemmy better now. Also, lemmy looks more promising in the long run. Let's say spez goes back and even makes the API FOC (impossible). He'll still plan some major bs in the future. The whole lying and now insinuating users would attack employees over a logo is just too far. He showed no love for the community nor for the contributors of reddit's success.

Unless lemmy is dead, I won't be returning to reddit.

Unfortunately not, it looks the same as it did on iOS 16.

When sending or receiving messages, the popup no longer occupies the whole screen. It'll now only display a box in the middle.
