Ha, yeah, though at least it allows potatoes to run it! I wonder how smoothly the textures could be remade...

I just discovered it last night so I'll need to find out!
Then try: https://gpt4all.io/index.html
It won't be strong, though. I'd just probably use DeepSeek but restrict questions to generic ones, like how to build a spreadsheet formula or something. Don't ask for life advice lol; do that here in !nostupidquestions@lemmy.world or !mentalhealth@lemmy.world.
Here's what you can trust: https://LMStudio.ai
Otherwise, only ask it generic coding questions that any student studying your topic would, and then there would be nothing to distrust over.
The fact that this kind of bill even needs to be introduced is just appalling.
I don't suppose that (after everything else recommended here) I could just watch those individual episodes you named and skip the rest, huh? Haha. Also, to be fair, the friend who recommended those shows hasn't watched Lower Decks, I think, which does have a high Rotten Tomatoes rating. Thanks for sharing.
That's because it's only a Band-Aid that isn't permanently defeating your anxiety; it just stops it when you're high, but it's not feasible to simply be high all the time. That's not a solution. You need to learn to manage and reduce your anxiety without relying (at least, so regularly) on a mind-altering substance—ideally, without any of your mentioned drugs.
And if it matters, I'm pro-marijuana, but mainly for physical pain and fatigue. Based on my observations, using it for anxiety is a trap (unless it's for temporarily through-the-roof levels due to a specific situation, like a breakup or family death or something)—though, to be fair, it's still better than alcohol or even worse stuff out there.
I'm guessing it's talking about non-canon/retconned works, huh?
Isn’t “thought provoking“ is kinda the whole point of sci-fi?
Of good sci-fi. I heard ST:Picard missed the mark for many, for example.
TNG is a bit too slow-paced for me, but I understand that was sort of the culture at the time. Thankfully, for that we've got Jump Cutter, one of the best add-ons to grace browser stores.
I just go for thought-provoking. TNG S2 has been excellent for the most part (I've started with TNG).
Neither; both of these are downloaded for offline running on PCs only. Androids aren't typically powerful enough for any meaningful offline AI.
