I'm stoked the Apple IIc got some love. That's the computer my family had when I was growing up!
I recently got a Kensington Expert and I'm never going back to a mouse. The trackball is huge (like a pool ball) and very comfortable to use (I use the wrist rest with it). It's not the cheapest (it's like $88 on Amazon), but it's awesome.
@dbtonez it's already possible in kbin-- just go to settings and change the drop-down for what you'd like as your homepage.
@NotTheOnlyGamer If we can get Peertube and Pixelfed integrated that would cover all of the bases for me.
@Girlparts I'm running PowerDelete Suite right now and it is very bittersweet for me. 12 years of heavy participation, poof, gone like dry leaves in the breeze.
@Gamers_Mate I hadn't heard about it before that day. I started looking for Reddit alternatives as soon as the whole API thing happened (which I found out due to a popup in RIF). I did have a Mastodon account, but didn't really understand the Fediverse until sometime this week.
FWIW I was on Reddit for twelve years and people complained about the good old days twelve years ago.
@ernest just want to thank you for all of the hard work you've done and are doing. Kbin is something really special and you've been going above and beyond with it.
It was fighting words to say Kubrick was overrated in film school-- people would get really mad about it! (I admit, I do really like the Killing, but that's about it).
And I saw the Matrix multiple times as well! It's okay to like action movies, and sometimes they even have real value too!
@FarLine99 I use Vyper, but I'll be honest, I don't know much about VPNs other than the basics.
