It is only right that if a publisher wants to reap the immediate benefit of selling something digitally that they should then be responsible for maintaining owners access to that digital content. If they don't want to maintain it, release it on physical medium with offline play and eat that cost. No worthwhile product ships for free.

I get the first part of the joke (klingons were on the Enterprise during the Tribble episode) but don't get the bit with O'Brian
I haven't played Timberborn but I almost did pick it up on the spring sale, decided to get dotAGE instead to see what all the fuss was about and damn I love it. It's a lot more of a worker placement game and is a roguelike so if that doesn't interest you it might not be for you but damn it's good so far.
If it helps try thinking of it as a "boomer shooter" because of the proliferation of rockets and rocket physics in classic games like Unreal and Quake
Yeah it has to be RL. I too have been playing for 10 years and still trash.
Lmao fair enough still better than the confederates did. The Yakuza series is testament enough to their success as a studio too it's not like they just keep dragging Sonic out every year (I mean they still do but there is some good shit as well)
Sega arguably did lose eventually though, with the same strategy that helped them win the early parts. They pushed for bleeding edge hardware at a time when returns on hardware were a lot lower and the market didn't really know what to do with it and ultimately had to shutter their hardware production. It's a shame too because the Dreamcast did look pretty good for the time and was the first console with online play long before Xbox brought LAN to the living room.
Awh Lass sounds adorable :) Grimlee is my guy, he's still just 4 and has a ton of energy and is my favorite buddy. He's a Collie\Heeler mix and he likes to stand on his back legs and wave his paws at people lol
That dang dog of mine.
Universal compatibility is too much to ask of anyone imo but I agree that DRM free would be the absolute best possible solution. But compromise seems a necessity
