It says in the article that the money will fund different projects that will combat food insecurities. It's not implying that the 1.7b will directly buy food for people, that'd be silly.

Found these in my compost bin, are these June beetle larvae or something else? (files.catbox.moe)
 

I opened my compost bin today to find hundreds of these guys crawling around in the compost. I'm curious as to what they are.

All posts on my front page are from 2-4 days ago and no new posts are showing up there. I'm sorting by hot. Sorting by new does show activity in my subscribed communities.
