I'm so glad it helped! Have a good one βΊοΈ

I'd already seen this video and really enjoyed it
Grayjay is also a cool new option you might wanna look into :) it supports freetube, YouTube, twitch, etc all through one app. Louis rossman has a video up about it on his YouTube channel. Worth knowing its in beta though
Never mind, even after compressing down to under 50kb, it still won't work and although the error message in jerboa is cut off, it looks to be saying the image is too large π
Oh, thank you for reminding me, I had actually downloaded the image toolkit app from f-droid but hadn't played with it yet. The limit for my current server is 100kb unfortunately. And last I saw, lemmy.world (where my previous account is) wasn't allowing people to upload media because they were dealing with people abusing the functionality to post child pornography or something like that
The image quality isn't great, but at least compressed I can still post things through the jerboa app. I had totally forgot I'd already found a decent Foss app to do image compression
A solid, accessible guide for different desktop environments and window mangers is something that's been needed for a long time. Or even just some kinda step by step to recreate an example setup would be super helpful to new folks and could help grow the community.
I think that'd be a plus given the migration to lemmy split things up and shrank the number of contributers here vs reddit.
Thanks βΊοΈ at some point I need to find a good solution for posting from mobile cause I wanna contribute to content but not being able to upload to lemmy directly has made that so much harder. I was just hoping to only need open source stuff and I think I'll probably need to use the official imgur website or app, cause the only open source one doesn't seem to be working for uploading pictures. We'll see
Some of them. I was gonna upload a picture but its gotten VERY difficult to do on mobile with either of my instances :(
My snake plant is named fettuccine, my car is named hornet after the character from hollow knight, and my ebike will eventually be named midna when I finish the project π
Awww, thats such a lovely idea
I believe this is an issue with both openboard and the aosp keyboard (with jerboa specifically), here lemme find the repo for the open board fork thats still getting development
Edit: https://github.com/Helium314/openboard this fork is under active development. It can be installed via the apks on github or through obtainium. If there isn't one already it would be helpful to submit a bug report for the issue you're experiencing. It might be good to open a bug report with jerboa too
You seem like you'd be much better served by a dumb sewing machine that doesn't have any software, and either hand embroidery or saving up for an embroidery machine someday for embroidery tasks
This is one of the cutest things I've ever seen π₯Ί
