but... what's the left cookie supposed to be?

My only comfort is that the rat is facing the other direction.

Mark McKinney from The Kids in the Hall (SNL, Superstore and more) has a series on CTV in which each episode has him trying out a new hobby by spending time with a mentor. In series 1, episode 6 his mentor is James Chatto who is Mae Martin's dad. They show a brief clip from the prize task.

Mark, James, and another puppeteer

Just before the reveal I said to my wife, "I half expected them to tap Mae's dad for this" since I didn't recognize him by name.

Sadly, I'm not sure how to watch it legally outside Canada or a VPN's Canadian IP.

The ocean around Japan is also what gave the world the sea bunny. Cute abounds!

Sad story. The poor otter heard about the Crab Nebula and went for a feast. But it got as far as Eagle, and realized it made a terrible mistake. All the crabs are back home!

NOT Poisoning Rivers Since 1997

Wasn't "What the Frak" a real shirt made in the BSG era?

Fun fact: discs can herniate multiple times even after you've shrunk half an inch in height and think all the cream has been squeezed out from between the cookies.

Given that the new agenda is to end birth control, no-fault divorce and spousal rape laws, a lot of women are about to have no say past the first one. Don't get married, and if you're in a bad marriage try to get out ASAP.

She was really good at keeping up the act that Tracy was unfaithful.

The real sea puppers are sea lions. They're like angry mastiffs who like to shoulder check anything and everything that's the same height as them, but seals just want to watch the world burn.

Her bonds will go on.

I happened to notice today that the "Itchy and Scratch Land" episode of The Simpsons aired just over 30 years ago (on Oct. 2nd, 1994).

That means that, for a full 3 decades now, I have checked every single gift, souvenir, and tourist shop I've been in for a Bort plate. Its not obsessive and I'm not going out of my way, but if I see a rack of novelty license plates I make a point to look for Bort.

Anyone else, or am I alone in this particular pop culture predilection?

As an AWS focused solutions/systems architect, I've been feeling this for the last 10ish months too. I attended the first 9 re:Invent conferences (up until Covid upended things) but I was glad I didn't attend last year; and re:Inforce sounds like it was even worse.

Join Andy Zaltzman, Babatunde Aléshé, Emma Sidi, Jack Dee & Rosie Jones in Series 18

I just Rosie Jones on something talking about taking a first date to a posh restaurant and then seeing Greg, Alex, and Tim Key at a table, and her being torn about wanting to give her attention to her date but also really wanting to be on Taskmaster. I'm glad at least one worked out.

This is the first time I've found a squirrel sitting in the tray. They usually sit on the countertop to eat. This is also smaller than most of our brown squirrel customers.
