Full price for a straight port of a 13 year old game? I could probably get a PS3 and a copy of the original game for that.

People of a certain age may recall the excellent demo that came out in 1999 for this game. I never got the full game at the time but now that I'm older with disposable income, I think I will finally give this a go. I've got some Pigs to mount!!

Tomba! is a beloved classic side-scrolling platformer developed by Whoopee Camp. Tomba! is coming to modern consoles once again thanks to the Carbon Engine enabling classic games to be easily ported to modern hardware while retaining the original version of the game. Tomba! is launching on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC at a later date.

If you've never owned a PS4 before then you have nearly a decade's worth of games to catch up on. That'll keep you busy for a while until the PS5 comes down in price. I've had a PS4 since 2017 and I feel I don't have enough reasons to upgrade yet. I'm playing all sorts of PS4 games still. Today I just finished Yakuza Kiwami which is my first Yakuza game. Now I have a whole series to work on plus it's spin offs. By the time I get a PS5, the PS5 Pro or whatever will be out ๐Ÿ˜‚

This right here. I really loved the 360 controller (despite it's flawed d pad). But the X1 was a solid upgrade. It felt premium in my hands and the tyre tread texture :O Lovely.

This is my current mindset. Watching the footage, I felt that they had got the look of Star Wars down and the graphics look impressive.
But I'm concerned the gameplay loop is going to be the usual sort of Ubisoft crap. I'm staying cautiously optimistic.
