I relied a lot on using a slow cooker. I planned out what meals to have each week and I planned to make enough to have leftovers. I often made a new meal on Mondays and Wednesdays, leftovers on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I suppose I have many old person traits because I am old, but, although I think it’s easy/cool to have tickets (plays, concerts etc) available on my phone, I still like to print them.

I usually make a Smoothie that consists of a banana, some plain fat-free yogurt, 1 scoop chocolate Orgain protein powder, about 1/2 cup almond milk, and some frozen blueberries. Sometimes I add Chia seeds, instant coffee, or cocoa powder. This smoothie is filling enough for me til I need a small snack around 3:00.
I’m trying out Kbin, Sh.tjust.works, Mastodon and Beehaw. Time will tell which one becomes the front runner.
I find it incredibly sad that the teen, Sulemon Dawood, only agreed to go on the trip to appease his father. Left on his own, the teen was not interested in going. And although I’m saddened to hear all five perished, the four older adults made their own independent decisions to take the risk. I feel an extra sense of sadness for the teen though who was influenced by his father into going.
I’m sorry this happened to you. Some people are just not nice people. You certainly are a woman and you deserve better.
