One Foot in the Grave. I just wish they'd made more of them.

I used to use a full-size Cherry MX brown keyboard and wireless mouse, and even though I had the rest of my desk and chair set up with the right height etc, I began to suffer bad RSI pain and occasional tingling.

At that point, I invested in an Elecom trackball and Mistel MD770 split keyboard. The change did solve my issues, but I had issues with the Mistel keyboard. I began to notice regular typos with keys in the wrong order, and it was caused by a delay between the left and right keyboards (which connected to each other via USB-C). Firmware updates were released for the Bluetooth version of it, but nothing for the wired version. It's a shame, because it was otherwise a nice keyboard with very compact layout, some programmability, and full RGB (if that's your thing).

It didn't take long at all to adapt to the split layout, even though I'm not a true touch-typer. Within a week or so I was at my normal typing speed with the keyboard split and tented. (In case anyone is wondering, the key order issues occurred even with the two halves pushed together like a normal keyboard)

I got fed up with it in the end and swapped out for a tenkeyless. Still no wrist issues over a year later, so I think the problem was more the use of a full width keyboard making everything off centred (typing and mouse).
