No better guardians of morality than people who fantasize about masturbation rooms for children.

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 34 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Yeah, you've got to be a sick fuck to even come up with this shit.

She was prepared to show the reporter where she'd seen the claim online, but her phone was in the microwave, charging.

[–] Snowpix@lemmy.ca 2 points 10 months ago

This was because she had attempted to drill for the hidden headphone jack, and thought it would not turn back on because the battery was dead.

[–] Send_me_nude_girls@feddit.de 71 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (2 children)

How fucked up in the head do you need to be to make shit like that up? It's not even just an adult, which would be stupid enough, no, it's an education official.

[–] interolivary 43 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

Conservatives generally have an astonishing skill at coming up with the weirdest bullshit to justify their hate of anyone progressive.

[–] HubertManne@kbin.social 15 points 10 months ago

considering their tendency to project im always worried its not made up.

*uneducated official

You know there's now a small bunch of people who believe this... All she had to do was say it once, and the damage was done.

[–] Kalkaline@leminal.space 20 points 10 months ago (1 children)

And the evidence is "I heard it from a friend, you don't know them, but it's totally true".

[–] loobkoob@kbin.social 17 points 10 months ago

"I can't find a source because the government and [[[globalist]]] mainstream media is covering it up. Do your own research"

[–] ivanafterall@kbin.social 38 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Any room can be a masturbation room if you're committed enough.

[–] Whaler_Shaver@lemmy.ca 9 points 10 months ago (1 children)
[–] KSPAtlas@sopuli.xyz 6 points 10 months ago

Or sneaky enough

[–] library_napper@monyet.cc 32 points 10 months ago (2 children)

While I do appreciate having dedicated masturbation stations at work, I dont think elementary schools need them for the students

But I do think we should advance this discussion as a workplace perk

[–] 4am@lemm.ee 30 points 10 months ago (1 children)

That’s not what your cubicle is for, Frank. We can all see you and it’s gross.

[–] library_napper@monyet.cc 4 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Yeah Frank, last year we converted conference room 8D for this purpose.

[–] vlad76@lemmy.sdf.org 10 points 10 months ago (1 children)

It's really hard to tell if you're joking, because there are people who actually think that.

[–] library_napper@monyet.cc 5 points 10 months ago (2 children)

I used to work in a boogie tech office that converted a conference room to a nap and mediation room. It has artificial grass and lots of pillows.

While I do think it was a nice perk, I personally get more of a productivity boost from a quickie than a power nap. But everyone's different.

Fortunately I work from home, so I don't need a masturbation station at some shared office. But I do think it could be nice, though I can't see how to make it sanitary.

[–] los_chill@programming.dev 2 points 10 months ago (2 children)

It would have to be some kind of single-stall facility where you can flush the entire room when you leave... like a decontamination chamber or something.

[–] library_napper@monyet.cc 5 points 10 months ago

Yeah I mean cover everything in stainless steel and tile, but now it feels like a ghetto WC in the underground or a prison. Not so nice & comfy.

Workers deserves comfortable masterbation stations for their all their hard labor.

[–] vlad76@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 10 months ago

Or just wait until you get home to touch your dick.

[–] Skyhighatrist@lemmy.ca 2 points 10 months ago

Fortunately I work from home, so I don’t need a masturbation station at some shared office.

The remarks were made by Barbara Nowak, the education superintendent for Małopolska, a province of 3.4 million people in southern Poland centred around the city of Kraków. The national government appoints one such official in each of Poland’s 16 provinces, where they are tasked with overseeing schools.

Nowak, a controversial and outspoken figure, was asked in an interview with news website Wirtualna Polska about claims commonly made by her and other Polish conservatives that the World Health Organisation (WHO) is seeking to “sexualise” children.

“The WHO outlines the aims to quickly interest young people in their bodies and in the pleasure of artificially aroused sexuality,” she answered. “These groups claim that the easiest way to relieve a small child’s emotions is through masturbation.”

“In Swedish preschools there are special rooms where the teacher goes with a child and masturbates them,” Nowak continued. “They then know that they can also masturbate on their own.”

you people are no longer allowed to make fun of america's crazy politicians

[–] curiosityLynx 28 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Correction: Everyone is still allowed to make fun of American's crazy politicians, there's just more non-American politicians in the pool to also make fun of

[–] vlad76@lemmy.sdf.org 7 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Is this where we realize that we're all just people, and people are crazy?

[–] RickyRigatoni@lemmy.ml 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I'm not a people. I am a sea cucumber.

We all import american bullshit, I saw some dumbas talking about trans people and Biden on tv. I live in a small Balkan shithole, but those our the issues we face here. It spilled over to the dumb shits, the reality based community is shrinking

[–] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmy.ml 4 points 10 months ago

Now imagine we in Poland have not only this bullshit but also the imported american bullshit.

[–] FluffyPotato@lemm.ee 3 points 10 months ago

Nah, it's just American politics imported. Estonian far right party tried it with gay people but it got them ridiculed instead because same sex marriage wasn't even legan then but they made it into a hot enough of an issue that after losing our government signed a law that does legalise it starting next year.

I'm guessing Estonia will get the "save the children" narrative for our next national election, I'm hoping that will end up making stuff better for trans people instead.

[–] Omega_Haxors@lemmy.ml 19 points 10 months ago

Every right wing accusation is an admission of guilt. Euuuugggghh....

[–] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmy.ml 11 points 10 months ago

To put the "official" in context, that woman is Barbara Nowak, the education curator for the Lesser Poland voivodeship - that is, the official directly responsible for the education system in entire region, and this particular region is one of the most densely inhabited.
