I was going to replay Red/Blue but I always do that. I never played the GBA ones. Is Ruby/Sapphire worth it? Or should I go FireRed or HeartGold?

Leaf Green is my all-time favourite Pokémon game, but I'd suggest you give HG/SS a try if you want something a little different. :)

I realized after posting this HG/SS is DS so no dice. I read the graph on Wikipedia wrong. I guess I’ll give FR/LG a shot.

Regular Gold and Silver are Gameboy games though. The Heart and Soul games are remakes.

I have no experience with Crystal. But people say Crystal is the best version of Gen 2

Yeah, I’ve played through Gold a bunch of times. It never really grabs me like the original one does. I play through Red about once a year.

When i had a 3ds i burned a shitload of hours on Pokemon Puzzle Challenge. If you havent played Gen 3 I really liked the world and it has a bunch of little odds and ends you can get lost in
