In case I'm not supposed to post about movies in here, delete this thread.

.

I liked the look and the feel of the movie even though it didn't scare me. It also was a nice change to see a vampire less human-looking than what I've used to see in vampire movies.

Was there something about the movie that struck you as World of Darkness-esque, or gave you inspiration for a VtM campaign?

I wasn't sure either, but per Wikipedia: "It is an adaptation of "The Captain's Log", a chapter from the 1897 novel Dracula by Bram Stoker."

I'm pretty sure The Captains Log was the basis of the Elizabeth Dane in VtM: Bloodlines.

I don't think I understand the question

I'm just wondering what the connection was that you made between The Last Voyage of the Demeter and the game/franchise/world Vampire: The Masquerade. I haven't seen the movie, so maybe it's really obvious if you have, but your post didn't make the connection in a way that was clear to me.

Hmm.

I honestly thought this community was about vampires generally 😂
I saw zero descriptions about this community on the right side...

Ah right, I see. Well, luckily I think most people who are interested in VtM are probably also interested in vampire stuff in general, so you should be okay.
