Our tax dollars at work.

On one hand, I get it. Michigan is falling behind in some areas, and attracting the next type of business is all the more important since we can't just rely on auto manufacturers to keep us afloat.

But on the other hand, am I the only one irritated that my tax dollars are basically being handed out to the rich so that they can exploit/ruin more of our natural resources? I'd love to see more of this money going to small startups and less to China-backed billion-dollar companies pitting states against each other in a race to the bottom.

Small startups that corporations are going to snap up anyway if they're successful.

That's still money flowing from corporations to the people, instead of the other way around.

I think this is actually a good step forward for making Michigan a powerhouse in this burgeoning field, and investing in the startup ONE is good to see, they're one I want to see succeed
