SMB for windows clients, NFS for Linux clients.

Haven't really looked into NFS bc I hear that only one person can access a file at the same time and that it does not have built in encryption support. Can anyone confirm if that is the case?

So SMB for the time being. Which is a shame bc I run Linux on all my computers.

What are you usefully going to do with the data?
