I'm looking for ways to set up a simple and easy to listen to pirated music, but I can't find a guide or comprehensive way.
I discovered Soulseek and want to try it, but will it ever be cozy as streaming services? I just need good metadata and maybe lyrics, I think these are things people struggle to find in pirated music systems
P.S. also some way to just search for a song and maybe automatically download it?
You are looking for Lidarr.
I feel like it's easier than ever. I just rip official album playlists from Youtube Music. Quality should be on par with what you get from Spotify or iTunes. Personally, I've never found any official sources for music that doesn't use lossy compression, so I don't feel like it's possible to miss much by doing it like this.
I want to be able to own a license to song/album/game/movie represented by an NFT. Any company can provide streaming services to users verifying authorized access to content via global L2 blockchain and competing on features/quality/usablity etc.
I suspect this would end up costing the end user more than the current situation.
Most of the money currently goes to sustaining the streaming providers rather than paying the artists.
You can pay for any streaming service that serves FLAC and rip that. Very easy to do for Tidal and Deezer for example.

I think music & movies are widely available than ever before through the telegram app... There are so many apps for movies and music.. what's the point of using torrents then ?..
I just pirated my entire apple music collection into FLACs, it really hasn't been hard to find FLAC downloaders, I combed through some 2 year old Reddit threads (Kinda lucky I struck on a community that wasn't private) and found slavart. Really intuitive to use and finally cut some expenses down thanks to it.

I used yt-dl for downloading, but since I have a decent flat, I switched to just using yt music with adblocker or revanced.
What benefits do torrents of music provide over just downloading from yt?
