I'll be upgrading aussie.zone to the latest release candidate of lemmy 0.18.1 in the next 15 minutes. I expect ~2 minutes downtime.

Once complete I'll unpin this post.

Thank you for running the instance. I was curious if we might see the latencies start suffering with the mass migration. I found no noticeable degradation and thus no reason to host my own instance. Thank you again!

Yeah I don't know what they're doing, but looks like they're making their own code modifications:

aussie.zone is vanilla docker images, straight from the lemmy dev team.
