So I just started using Beehaw yesterday and was logged in via a browser on my Android tablet After a little while a Beehaw app notification popped up asking for the normal notification permission that most apps ask for. I did not do anything to install this app but it does show up under settings/applications. Is this a PWA app and do they normally just install themselves?

Websites can also ask for notification permissions. If you did not explicitly install the website as a PWA then what you are seeing in your settings is probably related to you granting or denying that permission.
