I may be biased, but I think amphibians should receive a lot more conservation efforts than they actually get.

The canary is not looking good.
The canary is a skeleton at this point, and several of the miners have screamed themselves hoarse about how fucking dead the canary is, and there's so much toxic gas in the air that you can see little green skulls and crossbones floating around in it, although that might just be a hallucination from how much gas we've all sucked down.
We died a while ago, we just don't know it yet.
