I'm glad people are catching it early. I said the same thing when pixel 7 pro came out and it had "exclusive" features. These tensor chips are not vastly different from each other, no reason that these new features won't run on all of them except for greed.

My favorite is the new one with pixel 8 pro where it sends the video TO THE CLOUD to edit it and then you download it back, but it's an exclusive feature? Make it make sense.

In an interview I have seen, google said that price of this cloud computing is their concern and reason they limited this feature for now. This sounds fair enough for me.

However, I find this is a very bad and misleading practice to call something a feature of a phone, while in reality it is a "free could service" (video enhancement in this case).

Interesting. That does make sense, but I agree. That's my biggest gripe about it, don't say it's device exclusive when it has nothing to do with the device.

if they can get it running on the P8/P7, hopefully someone will get the APK and port it to other phones too
