Yakuza 0. I think I'm doing something wrong because the resolution's set to 720p with all sliders set to low and I still get 25 to 50 FPS.
Do you have a TDP limit set?
Elden Ring, Outer Wilds, No Man's Sky
Ohhh I bet outer wilds is great on the deck. What a masterpiece.
Talos Principle, Blossom Tales, Lila's Sky Ark, various VNs.
Cyberpunk now that I've figured out that it was my network blocking Steam Cloud saves from syncing. D'oh!
Cyberpunk 2077 and BG3, i started cyberpunk before the update with the new skill tree.
It's interesting, different. i think i prefer the old skill tree and its leveling mechanic. However, in the first version V have a poor clothing taste, it was almost as her second job was being a clown in an hospital. And i didn't understand why i couldn't make a good suit.
So Devs corrected lot issue and i'm enjoying the ride even if the story has some problem with the spacing...The main quest and secondary missions doesn't mix well, and i found out that Takamura could wait few weeks in basement until i finish few stuff. :)
What's cyberpunk like in heavy gunfire, performance-wise? Do you have any performance tweaks enabled?
I play at low rez. So it's mostly blury but correct and i'm used to low res game. Gunning is fine, it's smooth but i might be wrong as i don't play shooter a lot so i can't tell the difference.
I have some issue with driving car and the sound. There a kind of warp and i find hard to control the car. So i recommend a motorcycle, you can move easily between cars at fast speed.
I can't aim very accurately with joystick, so i geared my build toward intelligent gun and lot hacking.
The new hack system removed the sneaking. It forces us to act quickly, launch other hack before jumping to the guning part.
And for the new area, i haven't explored it yet so i don't know how the steamdeck will manage it. I'm kinda annoyed because most game increase performance and it's not always a good thing.
i am playing mother 3 with emudeck and the witcher 3 for the 4th times.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey and RDR2
I'm currently replaying SNES games that I had in my childhood. I finished Goof Troop today. It... wasn't as good as I remember. But it was fun slowly remembering how to solve the puzzles.
Did you play co-op? I've played it fairly recently with my wife and it was fun. That one and Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
Back in the '90s I played co-op with my sister, but this time I played solo. Idk, I just felt it was too easy, which is fine because it's a kids game, but it just wasn't that engaging for me.
That's fair. Certain amount of nostalgia goggles on those titles. I enjoyed it.
I still enjoyed it for sure. But right before that I had played Mega Man X3, which imo still holds up very, very well by today's standards. So it had a rough comparison. :)
Almost done with Eternights. It has its janky moments but for a first game by a one person studio, it's surprisingly good!
I'm also halfway done with Gato Roboto, it's a great (but short) game where you play as a cat in a mech suit à la Metroid 🐱🤖
Dying Light. It’s pretty good!
Tactics Ogre and Temtem. Both good games for pausing frequently when I have other things going on
Final Fantasy XIV (per usual), Dodgeball Academia (really good, reminds me a lot of Paper Mario without being a clone), Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 (very solid remake)
There was a dodgeball game for the GBA I remember from when I was a kid that had a River City Rampage vibe. Dodgeball Academia plays more or less like that as its combat system.
Playing:
- Mortal Kombat 1
- Guilty Gear Strive
- Street Fighter 6
- Armored Core VI
- TMNT: Shredders Revenge
(... and sucking at all of them ;-))
