For me, I’ve been listening to In The Shadows by Mercyful Fate and have been enjoying it a lot. Wasn’t super familiar with MF before so I’m exploring their discography.

Last week, another user shared Endless Battle by Wytch Hazel with me and it’s been my favorite song I’ve heard in a long time.

Finally, discovered Crown Lands today...they're like a modern day Rush revival...I am quickly getting addicted to this. Their recent album, Fearless, has extreme 2112 vibes.

MF! Danish black metal 🤘 On of my most epic concert experiences was King Diamond (lead singer of MF) at a smallish rock club in Aarhus.

I’ve been exploring more Danish black metal lately. So cool that you got to see King Diamond! I’ve been reading a book (Lords of Chaos) which is about the history and influence of black metal and it’s been a great time.

The Clash is so good!

I’m really digging Fake Problems and Grenade, so thanks for introducing them to me.

If you’re into thrash-y metal i can’t recommend Havok enough. They're a thrash metal band from Denver, and they're super badass.

Check out their stuff. Maybe start with "From the Cradle to the Grave." Or "Ritual of the Mind" off their newest album has a pretty gnarly groove that would be more "easy listening" if the harsher vocals are not your thing.

I'm diggin the new Portugal. The Man record. Especially Doubt, which sounds like their older stuff.

I had no idea that they had a new record out and randomly saw it recommended to me on Spotify’s new releases. It’s excellent. Doubt is great, and I’ve had Grim Generation stuck in my head for days!

Doubt is definitely my favorite! Reminds me of their older stuff

Been listening to Zeal & Ardor, especially Church Burns (https://songwhip.com/zeal-and-ardor/church-burns) and the rest of that record.

Several things:

Due to the recent hype around Makeba by Jain I've been listening to a few song from her. Come and Mr. Johnson are my favorites.

I also have been listening to Nathan Evans' The Banks of Sacramento since that song was featured in a TV series.

And a colleague suggested a cover of Ice Ice Baby with scenes from the Matrix movies which is also pretty fun.

I've been really getting into Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's japanese electronicore and I can't help but wanting to dance when I listen to it.

That's actually sick, I'll have to check more of their stuff out. Almost sounds more metal in some places

I discovered a guy named Sleepdept last week.

When Apple Music suggested me his track Fashionable Agony I was astonished. I’m my opinion, the track's structure is clearly delineated, featuring an intriguing progression that keeps listeners engaged from start to finish.

Adding to the rich tapestry of the album from which it originates, No Sanctuary is another recommendation.

For those looking to explore Sleepdept's latest works, Outer Heaven from the album Cost of Living is a worthy listen. Also, the single Nowhere to Hide makes for an intriguing sonic experience.

It feels very strange, that Sleepdept has almost no recognition what so ever.
