Holy shit. That's actually pretty huge. I have a feeling a lot of companies are going to realize how hostile reddit can be and stop officially supporting the subreddits. How much longer will /r/DestinyTheGame be supported? Ninja Kiwi only posts the full patch notes for BTD6 on the /r/BTD6 subreddit, will that go away?

Hijacking this since you guys all seem like swell individuals.. but can anyone direct me to some minecraft modding materials? Im trying to get this monster I made into the game and I dont know where to look @.@ I asume there are some forums here somewhere on lemmy but Ill be damned if I can figure it out.
Do you think Microsoft actually cares or this was just a good way to reduce their areas their PR team need support?
Microsoft owns Mojang, but by most accounts they are very hands-off with the company. I don't think Microsoft proper had any input on this decision.
Cause why? Cause F u/spez !
Sheesh
This is great to see!
Wonder where they'll go
I'd anticipate Microsoft putting up a dedicated forum. Forums are the most polished and complete software for this sort of thing and Minecraft is a big enough cultural phenomenon that people will ultimately gravitate there
