I would love a cheap and crappy line of ship modules. Something that looks like it was built by a Ebbsider, left out in bad weather, bribed the safety inspector, and should never been flown in space by anyone who values their life.

Corellian Engineering Corporation
The ships really are amazing in this game. I just wish they didn't put every object in storage if you change one module on a ship.
That’s such an annoying mechanic that I didn’t discover until after I created an armory, got all my guns all along the walls and in their cases, and then decided I wanted the living quarters on the right instead of the left.
I really thought my game had bugged and everything had disappeared.
I kinda see why they do it, because when you join 2 modules together the game creates passages between them. Making a new passage would affect whatever was in that space. But seems like they could not 100% move everything in your ship if you only edit 1 or 2 modules that aren't connected to other parts of the ship. It's a cool system but hopefully they can make some sort of compromise because I will probably never quit fiddling with my ship components but would also like to outfit/decorate the inside of my ship to some extent. I've collected desk toys and plushies. I need a seat for Grogu on my bridge.
I am fully committed to bringing over a joke of a company I came up with for Fallout into Starfield. They're basically ACME from Looney Toons and the player is Wily E. Coyote. They diversify, too. They make food, chems, guns, pre-fab bunker kits (to compete with Vault-Tec), and with Starfield, ships! All with unique quirks that make you wonder why you chose Bunk Co. Brand products.
Now you can’t throw out some awesome idea like that without telling more specifics on what these ships will be! Imagine, the Roadrunner…
A cargo ship with Hector the Bulldog shooting flames decals on the side. So many cool ideas.
They would be slightly worse than the leading competition, but the price reflects it. They also come with random bad effects. Like every once in a while, their laser guns would just explode and discharge your remaining ammo charge, hurting anything in range. Things like that. Along with a narrative involving their history for a little quest to introduce them.
The idea originally came from wanting to make my own "Wild Wasteland" mod for Fallout 4 but I only thought of most of the things I wrote down after Starfield was announced so I've just been waiting for the game and toolset to come out so I can work it into the newer game. It would fit way better than I imagined with the game's actual lore, which makes it even easier to adjust it from Fallout.
One engine powers down while the other goes full blast just sending you spinning.
That really sounds so cool! Glad you are bringing cool ideas like that to the game.
Hello Kitty Engineering Corps is working on it!
