Ah yes, big fan of wasting so much food.

[–] triclops6@lemmy.ca 8 points 1 year ago

Food....

The kid could catch a beating for this and it'd still be healthier than actually eating it

[–] onlooker@lemmy.ml 18 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Man, I hope there were some heavy repercussions for the person who did this. This isn't funny, it's just wasteful and mean-spirited.

[–] beteljuice@lemmy.ml 10 points 1 year ago (4 children)

Yeah this isn't funny, this is some first world bullshit. Shoulda packed that shit in a box and gave it to homeless people.

[–] altima_neo@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah, but what are homeless gonna do with an attention seeking brat?

Hmmm, do I smell BBQ?

The sad thing is poverty and hunger aren't even remotely related to scarcity: it's entirely a problem of distribution.

Even with blatant waste there's more than enough to go around if society could be bothered with getting it to the areas and people in need.

[–] Kushia@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm mostly just shocked that they thought it was a good idea for a prank in the first place.

[–] aksdb@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago

Maybe they got pranked by someone who suggested the idea.

[–] Getallen@feddit.nl 1 points 1 year ago

Giving the homeless nutella is disrespectful, instead force the dude who did this to have ro lick it off of the entire kitchen.

[–] Uniquitous@lemmy.one 3 points 1 year ago

And stupid, don't forget stupid.

[–] qyron@sopuli.xyz 14 points 1 year ago

This classic attention seeking.

The suffering they would be going through to clean everything by themselves would be a life long memory.

Someone mentioned having the kitchen cleaned with a toothbrush: have the kitchen cleaned with a tooth brush, twice, supervised and recorded, to have it published on the same medium these photos were posted.

And zero priviliges for 3 months, minimum.

This is a total and complete lack of respect towards pretty much everything.

"oh, is dad building an extra closet for random things?" "nope, that's the new solitary confinement cell"

[–] Mothra@mander.xyz 12 points 1 year ago

I hope they get disowned

[–] uphillbothways@kbin.social 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Instantly thought of this!

[–] ivanafterall@kbin.social 8 points 1 year ago

I think even a judge would understand murder upon seeing this. "Trial dismissed, you both frankly showed more restraint than I could have."

[–] SteveDinn@lemmy.ca 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Plot twist: they're allergic to nuts and this was attempted murder.

[–] XTornado@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

I did nut see that coming.

[–] FuckYouAndFuckThis@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 year ago

How is the aroma?

[–] MBM@lemmings.world 4 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Most of these are, usually they are doing something like redoing the kitchen. This is a fairly nice kitchen, but I've seen rich people do stupider. Just classic attention seeking behavior.

This is the post spanking world you wanted!

[–] vitriolix@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 year ago

we once in high school took a few pounds of soft butter and smashed it on the kitchen floor with our bare feet. it was really fun. we had to mop so many times to clean it up though. His mom was so confused as to why we mopped while she was at work still

[–] tubbadu@lemmy.kde.social 2 points 1 year ago

Oh my good, that's disgusting. Where?

[–] AceFuzzLord@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If I were the parent of that child, I would probably end up punishing that kid by making them clean up every single bit of it using only toothbrushes or something that would make it equally as hard to clean before grounding them for at the very least a week minimum for ruining the one place in the house I would consider sacred (as someone who likes to cook).

Though I would probably also end up going back and re-cleaning just to be sure it actually is clean afterwards. I couldn't cook in good faith if I am not sure the kitchen is clean enough to cook in.

[–] Uniquitous@lemmy.one 1 points 1 year ago

If I were the parent of that child I would contemplate my absolute failure as a parent, then go get a vasectomy to make sure it couldn't happen again. Probably check the web for tuition prices for military schools while in the waiting room.

[–] SternburgExport@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago

I really hope that's actually Nutella and not... You know...
