And after he recieved the Ten Commandments, he tore off his shirt, pointed to the crowd and told the non believers that they would have his wrath at WrestleMania IV

Could also be Trevor from GTA V... or maybe just the way he looked after I got him out of the barber shop

How tf do they reconstruct someone who we don't even know whether or not they existed?

[–] Hovenko@iusearchlinux.fyi 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

They took the dna sample from holy bible

Supposedly the copy Moses jacked off all over

[–] Hovenko@iusearchlinux.fyi 2 points 1 year ago

Or just licked it

You mean to suggest someone would lie on the internet? How preposterous!

Trevor on his way to get the jews out of egypt between two bank heists.

We have zero evidence what he looked like. The region was extremely ethnicly diverse. He could have looked like anything really, from pasty blond/red haired white guy to dark skinned. Most likely just similar to your average people in the region today.

Maybe zero evidence isn't quite true. I wonder what the researchers worked off to make this guess? Skulls from archaeological digs in the area? Egyptian art? It's a fair guess, at least, that Moses' hairstyle would have links with contemporary Egyptian culture, given where and how he grew up. But I agree at most it all probably amounts to very loose guesswork.

Or did they just pump into AI: "make a picture of Moses that looks different to medieval and early 20thC style, that will give me academia-likes." ;-)

Edit: ah, pity, looks like this is a joke rather than a real 'reconstruction'. I also didn't read the fact-check before I commented!

Fitting, since he was speaking to his brother.

[–] itsgroundhogdayagain@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 year ago

I've listened to a fantastic audio Bible (NT) by a British drama group, and in John's gospel the Pharisees sound Welsh and Jesus Jamaican. I love it!

Now you make me want a whatever-this-is-Moses rendition of Exodus-Deutoronomy, preferably with the genealogies and demographic lists in rap form.
