I thought either a wedding planner or marriage councellor, someone who's supposed to help you in your relationship. And obviously family members.

Feel free to mention personal experiences.

My neighbor cheated with his partner's sister, and now lives with the sister. The most aggravating part of it is that he has kids with both. Every other week his ex has to come by to drop off her kids at her sister's house since they share custody. From the kids perspective, their sibling is also their cousin.

[–] Krachsterben@feddit.de 11 points 1 year ago

Wow, so the kids are half siblings and cousins at the same time. Food for thought

From the kids perspective, their sibling is also their cousin.

I have a genetic half brother in my mom's side. But since he's older than me, my biological father adopted him, and he has literally always lived with only us, I just view him simply as my brother. I always have.

My mom has an identical twin. Her twin's children - my cousins - are genetically just as related to me as my half brother, who I view simply as my brother.

Hitler, probably. I feel like that might be quite bad.

I always thought that people who liked, um… β€œcold” partners preferred them fresh or nearly so.

Is there anything left of him except bones?

Ok that’s enough internet for me…

I know you're joking, but I don't think there's even bones. The KGB destroyed his remains.

[–] Pinklink@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And I’m just supposed to take the KGB’s word at face value?

Woody Allen? Are you on Lemmy now?

[–] MidwayTheMagnificent@wayfarershaven.eu 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That’s pretty bad, perhaps outshined only by your and your partner’s child

[–] coaxil@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago

Well, that was not not an option also :)

Her sister. They're close, and it would be devastating to her.

There's only one right answer to this question and it's the one person that will make him/her feel stupid for trusting you, AKA "the friend you told them not to worry about"

Someone who's already cheating on a partner of their own. The relationship is likely to be a self fulfilling prophecy.
