The holographic universe principle suggests that we're living in a simulated reality. Essentially, it claims our physical world is nothing more than a detailed illusion, and while this is unlikely, the idea does have some interesting science supporting it.

That's not what The Holographic Principal says at all, and even if what we know as reality is manifest as a projection from the Implicit Order, that doesn't make the world we experience any less "real".

There are different layers of reality, and they're all "real" within their own framework.
