I, also, love Battlestar Galactica.
But that's a different franchise. Battlestar Galactica is the one with the robots everyone calls "toasters" but they can only say "exterminate" and can't walk stairs except in the later seasons.
It's from Babylon 5, for anybody coming to the comments and wasn't familiar with what show this is from.
Every sci fi fan should watch it! Season one is a little rough but boy does it get good. Season four is arguably the best sci fi season ever.
Bab5 is the best scifi tv show of all time. Some people would say that The Expanse is just as good or better, I don't know.
B5, DS9 and the expanse are all pretty much tied for me
I actually watched it for the first time recently and quite enjoyed it. Lots of interesting characters and story. Like already mentioned the CGI is really bad. I wish they stuck with models rather than early 3D effects. Season 5 and the end of 4 feel a bit underwhelming after the main threat is resolved sometime in the middle of the penultimate season.
That’s exactly where I stopped watching. They had this major plot line resolved and then it just stuck around with nothing to do.
As an FYI, they didn't expect to get renewed for S5 so the end of S4 was originally supposed to be the series finale. Then they had to come up with a new one

100% worth it. With the caveat that the effects aren't good. The story and characters more than make up for it though.

In the past year it was released in 4K. As others have said, the effects are not great, but growing up in that era, it felt a little nostalgic.
I was pretty hooked on it for a while. I got kinda burned out on the last season. It’s not that it wasn’t good, I just binged it too hard.
